The McAllen airport experienced a total of eight flight delays on Wednesday, according to FlightAware, an online flight tracker. Four of those were departing flights from McAllen while the other three were arrivals from Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport. “This morning, I spoke with the leaders of McAllen International Airport and the South Texas International Airport and offered them my full support in dealing with the federal government following the FAA’s system failure,” De La Cruz said.
