A group of parents, teachers and students from Northside Independent School District (NISD) visited Austin on Monday for PTA Rally Day, where they met with lawmakers to discuss legislative priorities.

Schools thrive with the help of Parent Teacher Associations, which have parent volunteers dedicated to helping create a good campus life for kids and school staff.
