San Antonio Adeina Anderson of Creative Lifestyles with Adeina has some great ideas to make your next road trip with the kids complaint free, all while staying safe. The first idea is for car ride entertainment that doesnt involve your childs nose in a screen the entire time. Adeina created an on-the-go fishing game that only involves some yarn, a popsicle stick, a few magnets and a baking tray to make. The same tray can also be used for dry erase markers or even a magnetic tic tac toe game, leaving the kids entertained for hours. This week's Big Game Coverage Road Trip will start in Center Point, home of the Pirates. Due to rain and flooding in and around Center Point, the Pirates were not able to practice Tuesday. Center Point has made the playoffs two straight seasons, and the team hopes to make it three straight. Game 1: Brackett Tigers (2-4, 0-1 District 14-2A-1) vs. Center Point Pirates (3-3, 1-0 District 14-2A-1) at Pirate Stadium at 7:00 p.m. Friday. Game 3: Wimberley Texans (2-4, 1-0 District 13-4A-II) vs. Bandera Bulldogs (1-4-1, 0-1 District 13-4A-II) at Bulldog Stadium at 7:00 p.m. Friday.

This week, the Big Game Coverage Road Trip rolls south down 181, with the first game featuring the Pettus War Eagles at the Kenedy Lions. But, due to inclement weather, this game was rescheduled for Thursday night. “The weather that was being forecast had a lot to do with it,” Kenedy head coach Ronald Perez said. Coach West and his staff do an excellent job over there,” Falls City head coach Britt Hart said. Game 3: Karnes City Badgers (1-1) at Poth Pirates (1-1) at Jack Lane Stadium will be held at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Some teams are playing for pride, while others are fighting for district championships and playoff spots. Game 1: Lockhart Lions (3-6, 1-5 District 26-5A) at Tivy Antlers (7-2, 5-1 District 26-5A). Tivy is locked into the second seed in 26-5A and is looking to win its sixth straight game heading into the postseason. Game 2: Johnson City Eagles (5-3, 2-2 District 13-3A-II) versus Comfort Bobcats (2-7, 1-3 District 13-3A-II). Game 3: Seguin Matadors (2-7, 1-5 District 26-5A) at Boerne Champion Chargers (4-5, 3-3 District 26-5A).

SOUTH TEXAS – We are getting closer to the end of the regular season, meaning district races are heating up. Time to run around South Texas on the BGC Road Trip. Game 1: Ganado Indians (1-3, 0-1 District 15-2A-1) versus Kenedy Lions (0-6, 0-1 District 15-2A-1). Game 2: Charlotte Trojans (3-3, 1-0 District 15-2A-II) at Falls City Beavers (4-2, 1-0 District 15-2A-II). Game 3: Stockdale Brahmas (3-3, 1-0 District 15-3A-II) vs. Poth Pirates (5-1, 1-0 District 15-3A-II).

SOUTH TEXAS – This week’s run will take place on Friday the 13th, which is considered an unlucky day in Western superstition, but that won’t stop us from running around South Texas for the Big Game Coverage Road Trip! Game 1: Rogers Eagles (3-2) at Comfort Bobcats (1-4). Game 2: Marble Falls Mustangs (2-3, 0-2 District 26-5A) versus Boerne Champion Chargers (2-3, 1-1 District 26-5A). The Panthers have lost three straight while the Eagles fell last week, so both will be hungry for the win. Rhe game is set for Friday, 7:30 p.m. at Howell Field on the T.M.I.

SOUTH TEXAS – It's time to travel around South Texas for the Big Game Coverage Road Trip. Game 1: Boerne Greyhounds (5-0) at Wimberley Texans (5-0). This battle of undefeated teams will feature two of the best quarterbacks in the area in Brooks Klutts and JoJo Weeks. Weeks has 1,523 yards in the air, with 15 touchdown passes and one interception. Game 3: Central Catholic Buttons (5-0) at Navarro Panthers (5-0).

SOUTH TEXAS – We are now halfway through the 2017 high school football regular season. Time flies when you’re running around South Texas on the Big Game Coverage Road Trip. This non-district game will kick 7:30 p.m. Friday at Warhorse Stadium. This marks Natalia’s last non-district game before starting District 15-3A-II action next week. Due to field conditions at Dragon Stadium, the game has been moved to Southwest Legacy Stadium.

SOUTH TEXAS – It's time to travel around South Texas for the Big Game Coverage Road Trip. Game 1: Hallettsville Sacred Heart Indians (0-1) at Nixon-Smiley Mustangs (1-1). Hallettsville had its first game of the season canceled. Game 2: Falls City Beavers (1-1) at Stockdale Brahmas (1-1). The Leopards lost to Argyle last Friday after their season opener was canceled due to damage from Hurricane Harvey.

SAN ANTONIO – It's time to run around South Texas for the Big Game Coverage Road Trip. Game 1: San Marcos Rattlers (1-0) at New Braunfels Cougars (0-1). After playing the last six seasons on red turf, the Cougars are back to a more traditional green field. Game 2: New Braunfels Unicorns (1-0) at Seguin Matadors (1-0). Navarro played a thriller in week one, edging Giddings 29-28 after overcoming a 21-9 fourth quarter deficit.

Time to run around South Texas for the Big Game Coverage Road Trip. Game 1: Schertz John Paul II Guardians at Natalia Mustangs. This marks the fourth straight season the Guardians and Mustangs will open against each other, with Natalia winning the previous three. Game 3: Brackenridge Eagles at Somerset Bulldogs. Last season, Somerset edged Brackenridge 20-19 in Week 1.
