SAN ANTONIOUPDATE: The Loop 1604 westbound exit ramp at Lookout Road has reopened following a multi-vehicle pileup early Tuesday morning.

SAPD did not say how many vehicles were involved or exactly why the crash occurred. It is unclear if there are any injuries.

A major crash involving multiple vehicles has been reported on the Loop 1604 exit ramp near Lookout Road Tuesday morning.

The crash happened just after 8 a.m. and early reports indicate the crash may involve as many as 10 vehicles, and it could be due to ice. KSAT 12 has a crew at the scene.

Temperatures on Tuesday dipped to near or below freezing across northern parts of Bexar County.
