Driver Killed In Motorcycle Crash Identified

Robert Carter, 49, Killed In Hit-And-Run Crash

SAN ANTONIO – The identity of a motorcycle driver killed Sunday morning has been released as police continue to search for the driver wanted in connection with the hit-and-run crash.

Robert Carter, 49, was hit from behind and sent flying more than 300 feet.

Authorities say the crash happened near Loop 410 and McCullough.

The driver of the car took off, but police said another car then ran over the motorcycle rider.

Police said that driver stopped, but was arrested on a drunken driving charge.

Officers said when they catch the first driver, he or she will be charged with failure to stop and render aid.
