An arrest affidavit stated that a guest at the Holiday Inn Hotel in the 10100 block of Highway 151 told police that when she returned to her room one day, she noticed a dresser drawer opened with two diamond rings and a pair of cubic zirconia earrings missing.
The affidavit stated the jewelry is valued at more than $8,000.
Carraman was one of two maids who they originally questioned in connection with the theft.
According to the affidavit, police said they later learned one of the rings had been sold to a pawn shop that same day.
The affidavit stated the pawn shop receipts contained Carraman's name and other identifying information on them.
