The San Antonio Police Department announced Saturday that murder suspect Moses Ray Rodriguez was arrested.
Rodriguez, 25, is accused of killing 22-year-old Charles Thomas Jr. in front of the victim's home Wednesday in the 4000 block of Enchanted Sun.
According to an arrest affidavit, officers responded to the home and found a man lying in the street near his vehicle with a gunshot wound.
The affidavit also said Rodriguez and Thomas got into a fight at a nearby school when they were dropping off children before the fight continued in front of Thomas' home.
Investigators said Rodriguez shot Thomas and fled with his wife in a Dodge Durango.
Police later found the vehicle and the weapon they believe shot and killed Thomas at Rodriguez's mother's home.
Investigators said Rodriguez's wife told them he shot the victim with the gun that was in the Durango.
Rodriguez is being held at the Bexar County Jail on a $150,000 bond.
