Motorcyclist killed, passenger injured in crash Id'd

SAN ANTONIO – The Bexar County Medical Examiners Officer identified the 37-year-old man who was killed Monday evening as Elezar Lopez.

The accident happened about 6 p.m. on South General McMullen at Wallace Street, just north of Castroville Road.

San Antonio police said the motorcycle hit an SUV. The man driving the bike, identified Tuesday as Eleazar Lopez, was pronounced dead at the scene.

His passenger, a 34-year-old woman, was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the SUV that was hit by the bike will most likely not face charges, police said.
