SAN ANTONIO – The U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force believes four men wanted for various sex crimes may be in the San Antonio area.
Jose Carmelo Lara has been wanted for a charge of sexual assault of a child since 2014. He was first featured on KSAT-12 in June.
"In 2014, a police report was filed against Lara for allegedly fondling a chlid under the age of 14," Deputy Chris Bozeman said. "Soon after the report was taken, but he immediately went into hiding to avoid prosecution."
Lara is 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair.
Lara was born in Mexico but has lived in San Antonio.
Christian Dwayne Goode has been wanted for sexual assault of a child since October 2012. He was first featured on KSAT-12 in November.
"A warrant was issued for Goode's arrest following an indictment filed with the Bexar County 144th District Court. The indictment alleged that Goode sexually assaulted a female child who was under the age of 17," Bozeman said.
Goode is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 185 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair.
Goode has lived in Missouri City, Texas, but frequently visits San Antonio.
Javier Oliva-Resendez has been wanted for aggravated sexual assault of a child in Real County, Texas, since February 2009. He was first featured on KSAT-12 in August.
"Reports alleged that Resendez sexually assaulted a female child after sneaking into her bedroom while she slept. The victim was under the age of 14 years old. After a thorough investigation, a warrant was issued for Resendez's arrest, but he fled to avoid prosecution," said Bozeman.
Resendez is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds. He has brown eyes and brown hair.
Resendez has lived in Texas but has ties to Florida and Mexico.
Lawrence Wayne Clark is a convicted sex offender wanted since 2010 for violating the conditions of his supervised release. He was first featured on KSAT-12 in May.
"In 2004, Clark was arrested for possession of multiple images containing child pornography. Later that year, Clark pled guilty and was sentenced to six years in a federal prison, 20 years of supervised release and ordered to register as a sex offender. Reports stated that Clark allegedly violated the conditions of his supervised release because he absconded from supervision and failed to report as a sex offender," Bozeman said.
Clark is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 200 pounds. He has blond hair and green eyes.
He was born in Massachusetts, but Clark has been known to live in San Antonio and Pipe Creek, Texas.
