Schlitterbahn honored as 'Best Waterpark in the World' Waterpark honored by Amusement Today for 19th straight year No description found
NEW BRAUNFELS, Texas – Schlitterbahn in New Braunfels has been named the "Best Waterpark in the World."
The honor is the 19th straight year the waterpark has been recognized by Amusement Today's Golden Ticket Awards , which are considered the Academy Awards of the theme and waterpark industry.
"We continue to be humbled by the ongoing support of our fans and friends in the industry," said Gary Henry, CEO of Schlitterbahn Waterparks and Resorts. "At the heart of our success is the work of our incredible staff throughout our family of Schlitterbahn parks. They continually model the best of the industry level of service and care for our guests."
Schlitterbahn Galveston Island was also honored for Best New Waterpark Ride in the World. Massiv, the world's tallest water coaster, features four uphill sections, a translucent turn and a first ever triple-drop finale.
