SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police have arrested a woman accused of assaulting an 11-year-old girl, an arrest warrant affidavit says.
39-year-old Graciela Munoz is charged with injury to a child.
According to the arrest affidavit, Munoz was making dinner on July 3 when she got mad at the victim for using a bowl to make Playdough.
Munoz kicked the child, causing her to fall and start crying, the affidavit said. When Munoz told the girl to stop crying she allegedly used her hand to prevent her from breathing.
The affidavit said the girl was dragged by her hair to the bathroom to be cleaned up before being told to get on her feet and walk outside the house.
Munoz then bit the top of the child's shoulder in attempt to get her inside the vehicle, the affidavit said.
The child ultimately refused to comply and began screaming for help before running to a neighbor's house.
The affidavit said Munoz then fled the scene. She was arrested and taken into custody on Monday.
