Building at NW Side car lot catches fire Fire reported at Irving Motors on I-10 around 9:30 a.m.
SAN ANTONIO – A building at a car lot on the city's Northwest Side was damaged by fire Tuesday morning.
San Antonio firefighters responded to Irving Motors in the 5400 block of Interstate 10 West around 9:30 a.m. and found thick black smoke billowing from a building near a garage in the rear of the property.
A woman was inside the building and saw the smoke and ran out and called 911, a battalion chief said.
Firefighters were able to stop the fire from spreading to a nearby house.
No injuries were reported, and a cause of the fire is under investigation.
