Man arrested after stabbing brother-in-law in neck, affidavit says

Serando Jacob Salinas charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon

SAN ANTONIO – A 21-year-old man is in custody after police say he stabbed his brother-in-law in the neck during an argument.

Serando Jacob Salinas is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

According to the arrest warrant affidavit, the 20-year-old victim was living with Salinas and his sister when Salinas had become fed up with the arrangement.

The affidavit said that a week ago Salinas had locked the victim out of the house. It was then that the victim, Salinas, and his sister all started arguing through the doorway.  

Witnesses say they saw Salinas eventually go outside and stab the victim in the left-side of the neck.

Salinas is now in jail on a $75,000 bond.
