Movies in the Park is an ongoing series the Kerrville Parks and Recreation puts on throughout the year. But on Oct. 1, the films showcased will take a spooky turn.

Kicking off the Halloween-themed movie festivities is “Hotel Transylvania.” The spooky series continues on Oct. 8 with “Nightmare before Christmas” and on Oct. 29 with “Beetlejuice.”

Admission is free for all guests. All movies will begin between 8-9 p.m. and will take place in Louise Hays Park.

There will be concession booths serving classic movie snacks and beverages. The Kerrville Parks and Recreation Department recommends that guests bring something to sit on and bug spray.
