SAN ANTONIO – Two men were found dead with gunshot wounds to the head in a driveway on the Southeast Side in an apparent murder-suicide, according to San Antonio police.
The shooting happened just before 8:30 a.m. on Sunday in the 12200 block of Dewitt Avenue near Whitney Avenue and Blue Wing Road.
Police said a caller found the men, believed to be a father and son, with gunshot wounds. One was 60 years old and the other was 31 years old.
Officers believe the father shot his son and then shot himself since there was a gun located near his body, SAPD said.
The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office will confirm their identities and determine the cause of the deaths.
