April is officially here, which means the Alamo City’s favorite festivals and events return.
Fiesta 2026 returns to San Antonio from April 16-26! The annual 11-day celebration brings parades, live music, food and community events across the city.

Here’s a closer look at all the things you can do in the Alamo City this month:
April 1-5 events
- ALAMO CITY LX MOPAR CAR SHOW: Car enthusiasts can enjoy a free car show from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on April 4 at the base of the Tower of the Americas. The car show will feature Dodge Mopar vehicles, including Chargers, Challengers, Magnums and Chrysler 300s.
- BIG TX FUN CRAWFISH BOIL FESTIVAL: The festival will continue through until April 5 at Retama Park in Selma, Texas. Attendees can expect to see a crawfish-eating contest, a carnival, a petting zoo, live entertainment and more. Click here for more details.
- EASTER BRUNCHES: On Easter Sunday, which lands on April 5, several restaurants will offer festive brunches to celebrate the holiday. Click here to view a list of participating restaurants.
- EASTER EGGS-TRAVAGANZA CELEBRATION: The annual event will take place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on April 5 at the base of the Tower of the Americas. The event will feature egg hunts, egg dyeing, face painting, a petting zoo and more. Tickets are $10.83 per person, and egg hunt add-ons are available for an additional $5.
- EASTER IN THE PARK: The Brackenridge Park Conservancy will host an Easter weekend celebration from April 3-5 at Joske Pavilion. The park’s 11 p.m. curfew will be lifted starting Thursday evening. The celebration will include live music, egg hunts and a special appearance. For more details, click here.
- PESO PLUMA: The Mexican singer will perform his “Dinastia” tour at 8 p.m. on April 3 at the Frost Bank Center. Tickets are available here.
- THE GROWLERS: The band will perform at 7 p.m. on April 2 at the Aztec Theatre. Tickets can be found here.
- ZOO EGGSTRAVAGANZA: The San Antonio Zoo will host its Zoo Eggstravaganza on April 5. There will be several egg hunt stations scheduled throughout the day. Other Easter-themed events will also take place from April 3-4. For a detailed scheduled of events, click here.
April 6-12 events
- 2ND SATURDAY: Enjoy an evening of shopping, dining and entertainment from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on April 11 at the Main Plaza Conservancy. More details can be found here.
- BRANDON LAKE: The singer will perform his “King of Hearts Tour” at 7 p.m. on April 9 at the Frost Bank Center. Tickets for the concert can be found here.
- CARFEST: The car festival is scheduled to take place from April 10-12 at the Freeman Coliseum Expo Hall. The free event will feature more than 100 cars on display, family-friendly activities, food and more. Click here for more details.
- DALLAS COWBOYS CHEERLEADERS LIVE!: The team will showcase a mix of dynamic performances starting at 7 p.m. on April 12 at the H-E-B Performance Hall. Tickets can be purchased here.
- DISNEY ON ICE: JUMP IN!: Families can head to the Alamodome in San Antonio to see Disney On Ice’s “Jump In!” from April 9-12. To view a list of performance times and dates, click here.
- DONOT STOP HALF MARATHON: The 5K, 10K and 15K will take place at 8 a.m. on April 11 at the Lady Bird Johnson Trail Park, 10700 Nacogdoches Road. If you’re interested in participating in any of the races, click here.
- JAZZ IN THE GARDEN: Enjoy an evening of live jazz music performed at the Japanese Tea Garden as part of San Antonio Parks Foundation’s Jazz in the Garden series from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. on April 10.
- LOCALS DAY AT SAN ANTONIO ZOO: Bexar County residents can get discounted admission on April 10 as part of Locals Day.
- MOVIE IN THE PARK: The Tower of the Americas will host a free movie screening of “A Star is Born” from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on April 11.
- ¡PAW-CHANGA!: The adoption festival will return from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on April 12 at 4710 State Highway 151. The free event will feature adoption opportunities, music, food and more. Click here for more details.
- POTEET STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL: The 79th annual event will take place from April 10-12. The entertainment lineup this year includes Los Invasores De Nuevo Leon, Pesado and Braxton Keith. Single day admission costs $24 online and a three-day pass costs $79.99. More details can be found here.
- SAN ANTONIO BOOK FESTIVAL: The festival will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on April 11 at the San Antonio Central Library and UT San Antonio Southwest Campus downtown. More than 110 local, regional and national authors will be at the San Antonio Book Festival.
- SPRING FAMILY FISHING DAY: Bring your fishing road and bait to fish at the San Antonio River from 9 a.m. to noon on April 11 at Joske Pavilion. The family-friendly event invites anglers of all ages, with no fishing license required for the event. More information can be found here.
- SUPER FUN SATURDAY: BUBBLE BASH: Hemisfair will host Bubble Bash, a family-friendly celebration from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 11 at Yanaguana Garden. Click here for more details.
- TASTE OF HELOTES: The one-night celebration will take place from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Pedrotti’s Ranch, 13715 FM 1560 N. in Helotes. The event will feature a variety of food and beverage options, vendor booths and live music. The celebration highlights restaurants, chefs and businesses in the area.
- VIVA POESIA: The 12th annual event will feature music, local vendors and more from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on April 10 at Mission Marquee Plaza. The free festival kicks off National Poetry Month in San Antonio.
April 13-19 events
- BIDI BIDI PARTY: The celebration returns to Pearl from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on April 15. The family-friendly event will feature music, venders, food and much more. The annual event will coincide with Night Market. Click here for more details.

- MARKET DAYS AT THE TOWER: Enjoy shopping from more than 40 local vendors from across San Antonio during Market Days from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the base of the Tower of the Americas. The family-friendly event is free and open to the public.
- ROCKFIT: The Rock at La Cantera will host its free monthly fitness and wellness event from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on April 19. For more details on the event, click here.
April 20-26 events
- AVATAR: The band is scheduled to perform their “Don’t Go in the Forest” tour at 7 p.m. on April 22 at the Aztec Theatre. Tickets are available here.
- FOURTH FRIDAY: The Rock at La Cantera will host its monthly Fourth Friday event starting at 6 p.m. on April 24.
- BUSH: The band will bring their “The Land of Milk and Honey Tour” to the Freeman Coliseum at 7 p.m. on April 22. Tickets can be found here.
April 27-30 events
- CORNYVAL: This year’s four-day festival will take place from April 30 through May 3 at 12210 Leslie Road in Helotes. This year’s festival will mark 61 years of food, live music, a rodeo and — of course — corn. For more information on the entertainment lineup and tickets, click here.

- FARMERS & ARTISANS MARKET: The Mission Marquee Plaza will host its market from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on April 4 and April 18. Guests can shop and explore handmade crafts, sourced foods and more.
- FARMERS MARKET: Browse from several local vendors offering farm-fresh produce and more from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday at Pearl. Click here for more information.
- FIESTA: The city’s biggest party of the year officially returns from April 16-26. KSAT will livestream some of Fiesta’s biggest events. Dozens of parades and events will be taking place throughout the 11 days. For more details, click here.
