The dip on Ackerman Road near Interstate 10 appeared to have been repaired, but residents say it’s not enough.

While driving down Ackerman Road past Binz Engelman Road, heading toward Interstate 10, drivers say they keep a close eye on the brake lights of the vehicle ahead.

Two people and a cat managed to safely get out of a home following a garage fire early Wednesday morning, according to the Kirby Fire Department.
