The parade is considered to be one of the largest night parades in the U.S. and the University of Texas Longhorn Band is a fan favorite for many.

But perhaps the star of the parade this year may be the grand marshal. It's none other than Dos Equis beer commercial star Jonathan Goldsmith, also known as the "Most Interesting Man In The World."

Texas Sen. Leticia Van de Putte of San Antonio and her husband, Pete, will serve as honorary grand marshals.

Parade organizers estimate more than 750,000 spectators will take in the illuminated gala.

The parade route goes along Broadway at Grayson streets through downtown San Antonio to Martin at Santa Rosa streets. (Click on this link for detailed map.)

KSAT 12 will broadcast the parade live hosted by KSAT 12 News anchors Steve Spriester and Ursula Pari. KSAT 12 News anchor/reporter Myra Arthur will be reporting from the parade route.

KSAT.com will be livestreaming the parade. Coverage starts at 6:30 p.m. with a Fiesta Special, followed by the parade from 7-10:30 p.m.

The weather forecast calls for the slight possibility of storms, with temperatures in the 80s and winds at 10-20 mph.
