Walmart employees robbed at gunpoint

CONVERSE, Texas – Converse police are searching for as many as two people who robbed employees at a WalMart store.

Police responded to a call from the store located near FM 78 and Crestway at around 4 a.m. Tuesday.

Officers at the scene refused to release any information on the robbery.
However, a worker said he was approached by a gunman inside the store who demanded money.

According to police scanner traffic, the robbers were two men in a red, older model Toyota.
