E. Coli found in Ft. Sam water supply

SAN ANTONIO – Officials at Joint Base San Antonio- Fort Sam Houston said they have found E. Coli in the post's water supply.

They said the contamination was detected in a raw ground water sample.

However, they said treated tap water should still be safe to drink.

Officials urged infants, young children and people with weakened immune systems to check with their doctors before drinking the water.
