Cocaine found in granola bar sample No description found
SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Police Department is investigating why a small bag of cocaine was found inside a free sample of Nature Valley Crunch Granola Bars.
The bag was reported in March after a woman contacted Nature Valley and was told to call police.
Investigators verified that the small bag with dollar signs on it was in fact cocaine.
General Mills, the parent company of Nature Valley sent this statement:
"We referred this to the police in March and are confident this did not happen in our facility."
