Eleven Chipotle locations throughout San Antonio affected by data breach

SAN ANTONIO – Chipotle patrons may want to keep an eye on their credit card statements after the burrito giant announced it was victim of a massive data breach.

A cyber security firm hired by Chipotle uncovered malware designed to obtain credit card data. Eleven San Antonio locations were affected by the cyber attack, according to a release from Chipotle.

The malware accessed credit card data from March 24 to April 18. 

Investigators were able to remove the malware, but are asking those who visited the locations to take extra steps to protect their identity.

  • 4727 Medical Drive, Suite 102 - 3/26/2017–4/8/2017
  • 438 NW 410, Suite 101 - 3/24/2017–4/18/2017
  • 3928 Broadway Street - 3/25/2017–4/18/2017
  • 22106 North Highway 281, Suite 101 - 3/27/2017–4/18/2017
  • 190 West Bitters Road -3/27/2017–4/18/2017
  • 1201 N. Loop 1604 Suite 120 -3/25/2017–4/18/2017
  • 11745 IH-10 West - 3/25/2017–4/18/2017
  • 11411 Bandera Road, Suite 101 - 3/24/2017–4/18/2017
