2 teens shot at North Side apartment complex

SAN ANTONIO – Two teens were taken to the hospital Tuesday night following a shooting on the city’s North Side.

The pair were shot in the legs but conditions of the 14- and 15-year-olds were not known.

Calls of a shooting were reported around 9:30 p.m. in the 8500 block of Ahern Drive.

That is across the street from North Star Mall.

Police said a transaction over a necklace occurred before gunfire rang out and a weapon was recovered at the scene.
