SAN ANTONIO – Two swimming legends -- including one from San Antonio -- hosted a swim clinic Sunday for young swimmers from across South Texas.
Nearly 400 participants learned from U.S. Olympians Josh Davis and Ryan Murphy.
Murphy won three-time gold at the 2016 Olympics games in Rio de Janeiro.
Davis is also a three gold medals and a former Churchill High School student.
"I always say it's been fun to be a small part of their lives,” David Johnson, director of aquatics at NEISD, said. “Hopefully, I taught him something that he takes with him. He's had a lot of coaches in his life and he's a good ambassador."
Davis is the namesake of the newer natatorium at Blossom Athletic Center.
