2017 BGC Preview: Reagan Rattlers

SAN ANTONIO – The Reagan Rattlers will look to defend their district title this season under new head coach Lyndon Hamilton, who takes over for longtime coach David Wetzel.

Reagan returns ten starters from a team that went undefeated in District 26-6A and 9-2 overall last season.

Three of Reagan’s key returners are Spencer Gilliam, Ahlayashi Reyes and Reggie Wilson.

All three are versatile athletes who can make big plays on offense and defense.

The Rattlers have won district four years in a row and will open against a tough local opponent, the Brennan Bears, Sept. 2 at Farris Stadium.
