SAN ANTONIO โ Last year, the District 27-6A girls swimming and diving team title was decided by two points. The squad from Health Careers High School was on the wrong end of that differential and watched as perennial power Brandeis once again celebrated with a plaque on deck at Northside Aquatic Center. โWe pushed ourselves as hard as we could.โOne year later, Health Careers flipped the script. For the first time in program history, Health Careers had won the district title. Deputy US Marshal arrested after wrong-way driving crash on 1604
SAN ANTONIO โ District clerk records show a deputy US Marshal was the driver of a pickup truck that crashed head-on into a sedan on Loop 1604 around 1 a.m. Friday, injuring the driver of the other vehicle. Jones was arrested Friday morning on intoxication assault charges after the crash which occurred near the Babcock Road exit on San Antonioโs Northwest side. โWe take seriously any allegation of misconduct by our personnel and an internal investigation will be conducted,โ Bozeman said in a news release. ORIGINAL REPORT: Wrong-way driver arrested after head-on crash on Loop 1604The woman was pinned inside her car, according to police, and was taken to University Hospital in unknown condition for her injuries. โWe are cooperating fully with the San Antonio Police Departmentโs investigation of the incident.โ
