A federal appeals court has affirmed a judge’s 2021 ruling imposing a $14.25 million penalty on Exxon Mobil for thousands of violations of the federal Clean Air Act at the company’s refinery in Baytown, Texas.

The crash occurred at an Exxon gas station near Loop 1604 and Interstate 35 South. According to DPS, the chase involved state troopers and began around 8 a.m. in Atascosa County when Frio County deputies first tried to pull the vehicle over. Troopers chased the truck through Medina County and into South Bexar County where the truck crashed into a gas pump at Loop 1604 and I-35, DPS said. Seven passengers inside the truck tried to flee, but they have all been caught, DPS said. The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office and the Bexar County Fire Department both assisted at the scene.

SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio police are looking for two men who robbed a Northeast Side convenience store early Thursday morning. They say a clerk at the Exxon gas station at Nacogdoches and Thousand Oaks told them at least one of the men was armed with a gun. Police said that man walked into the business, pulled out the weapon and grabbed cash from the register, while the other man stood guard at the door. The clerk was not physically hurt during the incident. Officers said they had only a vague description, but they planned to look at surveillance video from the store.

FLORESVILLE, Texas – Police arrested Jeremy Saunders on Monday after finding him in possession of two stolen credit cards and approximately 80 pieces of mail from various residents in the Floresville area. Floresville Police Officer Reuben Garcia noticed a silver BMW at a local Exxon station that he believed matched the description of a vehicle involved in a string of recent mail theft incidents in the area.
