Fugitives have ties to SA's East, Northeast sides

Jimmy Castro, Deon Harris accused of sex crimes against children

SAN ANTONIO – The US Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force is asking for help to find a pair of fugitives they believe may return to San Antonio for the holidays.

Both men are wanted for sexual crimes against children.

Deon Harris, 24, has been wanted since April 2015 for a charge of sexual assault of a child. He was first featured on KSAT-12 in October.

"A warrant was issued for Harris' arrest following a report filed with the San Antonio Police Department. The report alleged that Harris sexually assaulted a female child in her home. The victim was under the age of 17 years old," said Deputy US Marshal Chris Bozeman.

Harris is 5'9" tall and weighs 215 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair.

He was last known to live on the city's north east side.

Jimmy Estala Castro, 47, has been wanted since August 2015 for three counts of indecency with a child by contact. He was first featured on KSAT-12 in early December.

"In August of this year, a warrant was issued for Castro's arrest following an indictment filed with the Bexar County 187th District Court. The police report alleged that Castro had sexual contact with a female child after sneaking into her bedroom. The victim was under the age of 16," said Bozeman.

Castro is 5'10" tall and weighs 210 pounds. He has brown eyes and a bald head.

He was last known to live on the city's east side.
