Teen shot on city's West Side, not cooperating with police

SAN ANTONIO – A teen was shot on San Antonio’s West Side on Tuesday night.

The shooting was reported around 9:15 p.m. in the 500 block of Kernan Drive.

Police said the 17-year-old was visiting a friend in the area when they discovered the teen shot in the arm.

The victim is not cooperating with police. He was taken to University Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are continuing to look for the person who pulled the trigger.
