KSAT Q&A: San Antonio Mayor discusses President Trump’s efforts to pause federal funding

With over $325 million of San Antonio’s annual budget tied to federal sources, Nirenberg emphasized the wide-reaching impact of the freeze on city programs and services. Despite the uncertainty, he reassured that San Antonio will continue operations as planned, having budgeted appropriately. While striving to remain measured in his response, Nirenberg stressed the need for clarity from federal officials.
