2017 BGC Preview: Brandeis Broncos

SAN ANTONIO – The Brandeis Broncos are looking for another strong season under a new head coach.

David Branscom takes over the program this season after being promoted from defensive coordinator.

The Broncos return six starters from a team that went 7-4 last season and advanced to the playoffs.

Brandeis will once again play a tough schedule that includes non-district games against Alamo Heights and Boerne Champion.

District 28-6A zone play will feature games against Brennan and Taft.

The Broncos will be led on defense by UTSA verbal commit Brandon Matterson and on offense by running back Marlon Flores-Flores and wideout Jalen Griffin.

Brandeis opens its season on Sept. 1 against Johnson at Heroes Stadium.
