Two people with knowledge of the agreement say ESPN and the College Football Playoff have agreed to a six-year deal worth $1.3 billion annually that will allow the network to keep exclusive rights to the 12-team playoff through the 2031 season.

ARLINGTON, Texas Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones expects to have some fans in the stands when the Cowboys open their home regular-season schedule at AT&T Stadium next month. The Cowboys have not released anything official on fan attendance, but Jones made the announcement Tuesday morning on 105.3 The Fan in Dallas. Jones was asked by the radio hosts if he had the green light from Texas Gov. Multiple NFL teams have announced they will begin the season without fans in stadiums due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Capacity for Cowboys home games is 80,000, but can be expanded to 105,000 with standing room only fans.
Dallas Cowboys announce Safe Stadium Policy ahead of 2020 NFL Season
DALLAS After consulting with the NFL, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the State of Texas and local health officials, the Dallas Cowboys announced a new Safe Stadium Policy for the 2020 Season in a press release Thursday. Fans will be permitted to attend home contests with several changes to the fan experience, including but not limited to:Masks required for entryLimited stadium capacity and social distancing measuresSeating blocksMobile-only ticketing and cashless paymentsDesignated tailgating locationsAT&T Stadium staff will receive special training on health and safety guidelines and an on-going cleaning and sanitation procedure consistent with guidelines from the CDC and other medical experts will also be implemented.
