Residents of a Schertz neighborhood say they have had enough of dealing with power outages that occur almost weekly.

On Nov. 4, voters in Schertz will decide on Proposition A, which relates to building regulations around JBSA Randolph in the areas that are in the extraterritorial jurisdiction (ETJ) within five miles of the military base.

Brown was elected to Place 7 in 2018, the city stated in a news release, and helped “guide the city through years of growth and progress."

Voters in Bexar County and across the nation will cast a ballot for a monumental election on Nov. 5.

The City of Schertz and the Schertz Economic Development Corporation announced a $12 million project for two new parks and an enhancement for the Schertz Soccer Complex.

Holidazzle 2023 will be held on Dec. 2 at the Hal Baldwin Municipal Complex located at 1400 Schertz Parkway.

Less than an hour after KSAT started making calls about the allegations, the City of Schertz said HABI Land LLC pulled its zoning application.

People who live in the Schertz and surrounding areas might start to see a yellow sticker on the back windshield of vehicles. The sticker is part of the Yellow Dot Program initiative, which could help save a person’s life.

SCHERTZ, Texas – After initially declining open records requests for body camera footage of Zekee Rayford’s arrest, the City of Schertz released multiple videos of the incident on Wednesday evening. When Kevin Rayford, Zekee Rayford’s father, answered the door, he was visibly upset with police, repeatedly asking why they used the stun gun on his son. Eventually, officers Chavarria and Fennesy took Zekee Rayford down the street to get checked out by medics, the body cam footage showed. Y’all didn’t have to tase me,” Zekee Rayford said. Fennesy told Zekee Rayford to exit the car so he can get checked by medics.
