Heavy rain has caused flooding in northeast San Antonio and surrounding areas, prompting a Flash Flood Warning until 11 p.m. Rain will persist overnight with light-to-moderate showers and occasional heavy pockets that may cause localized flooding. Lingering rain is expected Tuesday morning, but conditions should improve by evening, with temperatures reaching the upper 60s. The rest of the week will see a return to warmer, spring-like temperatures near 90 by Friday, with isolated storms possible each day and a risk of severe weather.

A man and woman who died in a murder-suicide at a Northeast Bexar Count home earlier this week have been identified by the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office.

A homeowner has been displaced and two dogs are dead following a house fire in Northeast Bexar County early Friday morning, the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said.

Joseph Colbert, 54, died as a result of the incident, though his cause of death is currently pending.
