SAN ANTONIO – A teen suspect identified as Daniel Scimeca, 17, faces charges of robbery and aggravated robbery in connection with the robberies of two Pizza Hut delivery drivers.
An arrest affidavit stated that one driver told San Antonio police he knocked on the door of an apartment in the 6100 block of Windbrooke Drive on June 2 to deliver a pizza.
He told police that a man inside the apartment punched him in the face repeatedly until he gave up his money, the affidavit stated.
The next day, another driver reported that he attempted to deliver at a pizza to an apartment on Datapoint Drive.
The affidavit stated that when he found no one inside the home, he called a phone number that was provided and was directed to another unit.
However, he said two people approached him in the parking lot of the apartment complex and robbed him of his cash.
Police said both victims gave a similar description of the man who robbed them, and that Scimeca matched that description.
According to the affidavit, Scimeca also lived in the apartment where the first victim was robbed.
He was taken into custody on Friday and booked into jail with bonds set at $70,000.
