Last Rosita Fernandez dress donated

The last dress of the beloved singer and film star Rosita Fernandez is now on display in the Museo del Westside, a project by the Esperanza Peace and Justice Center. Fernandez is a Tejano singer pioneer, as she was one of the first women to record Corridos in the male-dominated music genre. Her family donated what's left of her belongings to the museum, which is currently in development at was once Ruben's Ice House in the 800 block of South Colorado Street.
