List for January 16, 2018; Will be updated as closures, delays announced

SAN ANTONIO – Dozens of San Antonio and South Texas school districts have canceled classes for Tuesday due to the possibility of ice on the roads and winter weather. Here is a list of school closures for Jan. 16, 2018.

The list below will be updated throughout the day and morning.

  • Alamo Colleges District (All campuses) will be closed until 5 pm on Tuesday, Jan. 16.
  • Alamo Heights is canceling classes and all activities for Tuesday, January 16.
  • Antonian will cancel school on Tuesday, January 16, 2018.
  • Bandera ISD will be closed due to bad weather tomorrow, Tuesday, January 16. No extracurricular activities tomorrow either.
  • Basis Texas schools will be closed Tuesday.
  • Blanco ISD is closed Tuesday.
  • Boerne ISD has canceled school and all related activities for Tuesday, Jan. 16. 
  • Brackett ISD has canceled classes and all actitivies  Tuesday. 
  • Brightwood College – Ingram, San Pedro campuses will be closed on Tuesday.
  • The Bexar County Juvenile Justice Academy will be closed all day on Tuesday, January 16
  • Center Point ISD will be closed Tuesday January 16th.
  • Central Catholic will be closed Tuesday.
  • College of Health Care Professions will be canceling classes tomorrow Jan 16th, 2018.  Classes will resume on Jan 17th.
  • Comal ISD campuses and departments will be closed tomorrow, January 16, 2018. This includes all scheduled athletic and fine arts events before, during, and after school hours.
  • Comfort ISD will be closed Tuesday.
  • Concordia Lutheran School and Child Care Center will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 16 due to weather. 
  • Concorde College will be closed on Tuesday.
  • Child Development Center in Beeville will be closed Tuesday.
  • Coastal Bend College in Pleasanton is closed Tuesday.
  • Cornerstone Christian Schools will be canceling school Tuesday, January 16, 2018. 
  • Del Rio CISD (San Felipe Del Rio CISD) announced that schools and administrative offices will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, January 16, 2018 due to possible winter weather.
  • Doss CCSD is now canceling school for Tuesday, January 16th.
  • Devine ISD is closed Tuesday.
  • D'Hanis ISD is closed Tuesday.
  • East Central ISD is canceling all school functions for tomorrow. All schools and evening events.
  • Edgewood ISD will cancel classes on Tuesday, January 16, 2018. 
  • Falls City ISD will be closed tomorrow, we will resume normal operations on Wednesday.
  • Floresville ISD is canceling classes at all campuses, along with all extra-curricular activities, on Tuesday, January 16th.
  • Gonzales ISD announces there will be no school tomorrow due to an icy roads advisory. Please stay safe.
  • George Gervin Academy (all campuses) will be closed on Tuesday, January 16.
  • Harlandale ISD schools will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, Jan. 16.
  • Harper ISD has canceled school for Tuesday, January 16th. 
  • Harmony Public Schools are closed Tuesday.
  • Heritage Academy in Windcrest is closed, January 16th.
  • Holy Cross of San Antonio has canceled classes for Tuesday, Jan. 16th.
  • Holy Spirit Catholic School will be closed tomorrow, January 16th, due to inclement weather. 
  • Hondo ISD will be closed Tuesday, January 16th due to weather.
  • Hunt ISD has canceled classes for tomorrow, Jan. 16th.
  • Ingram ISD has canceled classes for tomorrow, Jan. 16th.
  • IDEA Public schools will be closed Tuesday.
  • Jourdanton ISD classes have been canceled for Tuesday, January 16, 2018.
  • Judson ISD classes have been canceled for Tuesday, January 16, 2018.
  • Jubilee Academy is closed Tuesday.
  • Karnes City has canceled school and activities for all staff and students on Tuesday, Jan. 16th due to predicted weather conditions. Classes have been canceled for students also on Wednesday, January 17th. Staff will report on Wednesday from 8:30 am -11:30 am.
  • Kenedy ISD will close due to the inclement weather we expect Tuesday January 16, 2018. 
  • Kerrville ISD has canceled school for tomorrow. All extra-curricular activities are canceled as well.
  • Keystone school is closed tomorrow, Jan. 16th due to inclement weather.
  • Leakey ISD has called off all classes Tuesday.
  • Lackland ISD is canceling school tomorrow, January 16, 2018.
  • Lamson Institute is closed on Tuesday due to inclement weather.
  • La Vernia ISD classes are canceled for Tuesday January 16, 2018. La Vernia preschool and Alamo Academies are canceled as well. 
  • Lifegate Christian School in Seguin will not hold classes on Jan. 16.
  • Luling ISD will be closed Tuesday, Jan. 16. Classes will resume Wednesday, Jan. 17 at regular times.
  • Lutheran High School will be closed Tuesday.
  • McMullen County ISD releasing at noon on Tuesday. Delayed start of 10 a.m. on Wednesday, buses run 2 hours before school.
  • Marion ISD is canceling classes for Tuesday, January 16, 2018. 
  • Medina ISD will be closed tomorrow, January 16th.
  • Medina Valley ISD will be closed tomorrow, January 16th.
  • Montessori School International has canceled classes for tomorrow, January 16, 2018. 
  • Navarro ISD will be closed tomorrow, Jan. 16th due to possible icy road conditions.
  • New Braunfels ISD schools and offices will be closed on January 16th.
  • New Frontiers Public Schools will be closing all school and district operations on Tuesday, January 16, 2018.
  • Northside ISD has canceled classes for Tuesday, Jan. 16 due to winter weather.
  • North East ISD has canceled classes for Tuesday, Jan. 16 due to winter weather.
  • Nixon-Smiley CISD has canceled all classes on Tuesday. This includes the DAEP campus.
  • Our Lady of the Lake University's San Antonio and Houston campuses will be closed on January 16th.
  • All Parent/Child Incorporated Head Start/Early Head Start Centers and Administrative Offices are closed on Tuesday January 16, 2018. Classes will resume on Wednesday January 17, 2018 at the regular scheduled time.
  • Pearsall ISD is canceling school on Tuesday, January 16th.
  • Pleasanton ISD is canceling school and all athletic events for Tuesday January 16th.
  • Prairie Lea ISD will be closing tomorrow, Jan. 16, due to inclement weather.  
  • Pre-K 4 SA leadership has determined that school will be canceled Tuesday, January 16.
  • Premier High School of San Antonio East will be closed tomorrow, January 16th.
  • Providence Catholic School will be closed Tuesday, January 16 due to expected icy conditions.
  • Poteet ISD has canceled classes for Tuesday, January 16th.
  • Poth ISD has canceled school and all practices for Tuesday, January 16th. Please monitor website and Facebook for decisions about school on Wednesday. 
  • Rocksprings ISD is closed Tuesday, January 16, 2018. 
  • Saint Gregory the Great Catholic School is closed tomorrow, Jan.16, due to inclement weather.
  • Saint Mary's Hall will be closed tomorrow, January 16.
  • Sacred Heart Catholic School in Floresville will be closed Tuesday.
  • Saint Gregory the Great will be closed Tuesday
  • Shepherd of the hills School and Child Care will be closed Tuesday.
  • San Antonio Academy will be closed Tuesday, January 16.
  • San Antonio Christian School will be closed Tuesday, January 16.
  • San Antonio ISD schools and offices will be closed Tuesday, January 16. 
  • San Marcos Academy classes and activities are canceled for Tuesday, Jan. 16.
  • San Marcos CISD schools will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, Jan. 16.
  • School of Science and Technology - Discovery is closed tomorrow.
  • Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City ISD is canceling classes tomorrow, January 16th, due to the wintry weather forecast and for the safety of our students and staff.
  • Seguin ISD schools and offices will be closed on Tuesday, January 16. School will resume on Wednesday, January 17.
  • Shiner ISD has canceled classes for Tuesday, Jan. 16
  • Somerset ISD classes are canceled for Tuesday, January 16, 2018. 
  • Stockdale ISD will be closed tomorrow January 16th due to winter weather.
  • South San Antonio Independent School District will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, January 16 because of a winter storm event. 
  • Southside ISD cancels class on Tuesday, January 16 due to the Winter Storm Warning.
  • Southwest ISD will be canceling all classes tomorrow, Tuesday, January 16.
  • St. Luke's Episcopal School in San Antonio closed tomorrow, Jan. 16th.
  • St. Mary's University
  • School of Excellence is closed Tuesday.
  • Sylvan Learning Centers of San Antonio closed Tuesday.
  • Texas A&M University-San Antonio will be closed for operations on Tuesday, January 16, 2018. 
  • Texas State will cancel classes and suspend operations on Tuesday at the San Marcos and Round Rock campuses.
  • TMI Episcopal will be closed Tuesday, January 16.
  • Trinity is canceling classes and closing offices on Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2018.
  • UIW locations in San Antonio will be closed on Tuesday, Jan. 16 due to expected icy conditions in our area. This includes Incarnate Word High School and Saint Anthony Catholic School.
  • UTSA classes, programs and events are canceled on Tuesday, Jan. 16. Also, the JPL Library will close at 6pm tonight as planned for the MLK holiday.
  • Uvalde CISD has canceled classes for tomorrow, January 16th.
  • Utopia ISD is canceling classes for Tuesday.
  • Winston School will be closed Tuesday.
