3-day taco and music festival planned for Southeast Bexar County food truck park

Rancho 181 is holding first Taco Fest from March 17-19

Taco fanatics unite! If you are a taco lover, you want to take advantage of the inaugural Taco Fest at Rancho 181, located at 13514 US 181.

The Taco Fest is a three-day festival with local food trucks, small business vendors, live music and a taco competition. The family- and pet-friendly events are free and open to the public.

The taco contest is free to enter. They will be judged on presentation, uniqueness and flavor. The winner will win a cash prize of $1,500 and a custom Taco Fest Championship belt. Participants will also be able to sell their tacos to the public.

Guest judges of Taco Fest 2023 are HammBurger from 98.5 The Beat; comedian Cleto Rodriguez; April Monterrosa, the publisher of Live from the Southside Magazine and radio show host at KLMO 98.9 FM; and Nina Duran, the regional merchant lead at DoorDash.

  • Los Tovares Band – 1-4 p.m.
