18-year-old arrested in connection with teenager found shot in field near Castroville
An 18-year-old was arrested in Bexar County on Friday in connection with the fatal shooting of a teenager found in a field just south of Castroville, the Medina County Sheriff's Office said. At around 9 p.m. on Dec. 2, Medina County sheriff's deputies were called to a field on Lower LaCoste Road after callers reported seeing a male lying on the ground. The Bexar County Medical Examiner's Office confirmed the teen's death the following day. On Friday, deputies executed a search warrant at a home near the 12000 block of Paseo Derecho in Bexar County and arrested Garcia.
