Sex offender wanted for skipping out on court-ordered supervision

Aristeo Robles Garcia, 54, facing new charges

SAN ANTONIO – A convicted sex offender required to report his address to law enforcement for the rest of his life is accused of failing to do that. Now, he's facing charges that could put him behind bars again.

Aristeo Robles Garcia, 54, is wanted on a charge of failing to comply with sex offender registration conditions.

"In 1995, Garcia was sentenced to time in prison on charges involving indecency with a child through sexual contact and was later ordered to register as a sex offender," said Deputy U.S. Marshal Chris Bozeman.

The state's sex offender registry site shows Garcia last registered with the San Antonio Police Department in 2008. It says he is required to register annually for life.

Garcia is 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs 185 pounds. He has a balding head and brown eyes.

"His last known place of residence was on the Southeast Side of San Antonio," Bozeman said.

If you have any information on his whereabouts, call the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force at 210-657-8500.
