San Antonio is the latest winner of a gold medal recognition from CityHealth.
The award was presented Saturday at the National League of Cities summit.
The city earned the award for its improvement in health policies over the last year.
CityHealth is one of the major policy-making agencies in the United States.
Mayor Ron Nirenberg and other city leaders accepted the recognition.
