SAN ANTONIO – San Antonio’s LGBTQ+ community has a rich and vibrant history. Despite facing discrimination and persecution, queer people in our city have always found ways to come together and celebrate their identities.

In this episode of the South Texas Pride Podcast, we spoke with UTSA Special Collections assistant archivist Melissa Gohlke to discuss local LGBTQ+ history and the many contributions that queer people have made to our city.
