HOUSTON – The Houston Police Department's homicide team is investigating after a man is killed after falling into an industrial shredder in northwest Houston.
The accident happened at Consolidated Distributors, an appliance supply business located at 1247 W. 34th Street.

According to police, the man was working on a device that was rotating in the back of a truck and fell into an industrial shredder at the business.
The business was open at the time of the accident.
Authorities said the victim died from his wounds.
Police have not released the man's name, but he is believed to be in his 30s or 40s.
The incident was being treated as an accidental death.
