BCSO investigating home invasion in Northeast Bexar County
BEXAR COUNTY, Texas – The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office is investigating following a home invasion in Northeast Bexar County early Thursday morning. The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. at a home in the 8000 block of Chestnut Blue, not far from Seguin Road and Walzem Road. According to deputies, the suspects forced their way into the home by kicking in the front door and then stole several items. Police said the suspects did, however, drop some of the items on their way out. At this time, it is unclear as to exactly why this particular home was targeted.
Young daughter of DeMar DeRozan helped thwart home intruder, report says
SAN ANTONIO – More details have surfaced after a scary incident at the Los Angeles area home of Spurs guard DeMar DeRozan. The report stated the intruder, identified as 22-year-old Justin Bergquist, was seen on surveillance video looking into DeRozan’s home from outside. According to the report, the intruder made a hand signal for DeRozan’s daughter to remain quiet, but she ran downstairs and notified her parents. LOS ANGELES – San Antonio Spurs player DeMar DeRozan and his family are all safe following a recent break-in at their Los Angeles home. According to a report from TMZ, an intruder gained access to DeRozan’s home on Nov. 19. DeRozan then “chased the man out of his house,” TMZ reports. DeRozan was not the intended target, as the intruder was initially trying to gain access into Kylie Jenner’s home, according to TMZ. San Marcos police searching for two armed men involved in robbery, car theft
SAN MARCOS – The San Marcos police department is requesting the public’s help in identifying and locating two armed men involved in an assault and robbery of an apartment resident. Police say the two men assaulted and robbed a resident as he was getting into his vehicle on Nov. 20 at the Grove apartment complex, 1150 E. River Ridge Parkway. The men then forced the resident into their vehicle and demanded that he tell them his apartment number. According to police, one of the men stole the man’s keys and entered the unit and stole various items from the apartment. The men then ordered the victim out of the vehicle and stole it.

Man attacked during home invasion on Southwest Side, police say
SAN ANTONIO – A Southwest Side man suffered a cut on his back during a home invasion late Monday night. Officers were called around 11 p.m. to a home in the 300 block of Hollenbeck Avenue, not far from Quintana Road after receiving word of someone injured. They did not specify how he suffered the small cut on lower his back, but it appears paramedics were able to treat him at the scene. So far, no arrests have been made in the case. A description of the suspects was not given.
SAPD: Home where woman, son were shot site of numerous drug calls
SAN ANTONIO – A West Side home where a woman and her adult son were shot during a home invasion Thursday morning had been the site of numerous calls for San Antonio police. Fourteen of those calls were listed as “narcotics laws,” while others included reports of disturbances, fights and family violence. The latest calls that came in just after 4 a.m. Thursday were related to the shooting. Woman, son shot in apparent home invasion on West SideA sergeant at the scene said two men with guns had forced their way into the home. After some yelling and cussing, the gunmen shot a 56-year-old woman in the leg and wounded her 19-year-old son in the chest and leg, he said.

SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS – San Antonio police are searching for four masked gunmen who stormed into a West Side home, threatening and robbing the family who lives there. Officers responded to that home, located in the 5400 block of Wincheap Farm, shortly after 1 a.m. Tuesday. They told police the intruders got into their home by kicking in the door, then demanded money. When the family did not produce any cash, the gunmen took off with their cell phones and a purse, police said. Officers followed a signal from one of the cell phones to an intersection about three miles away.
