City says employer participation key to $200M job training program
More the 70 employers have signed onto a pledge supporting the upcoming โSA: Ready To Workโ program, which will provide tuition for certification programs or associateโs and bachelorโs degrees in high-demand fields. The goal of the $200 million program is to help participants get and keep jobs paying at least $15 an hour with benefits.
San Antonio residents take advantage of Train for Jobs SA program
San Antonio โ The City of San Antonio is seeing positive results behind Train for Jobs SA, its COVID-19 workforce recovery program. Restore Education is a non-profit organization and is one of many partnering with the city to make re-entering the workforce during the pandemic a reality. On Saturday, the organization held a drive-thru graduation for those getting their GED, and for those who participated in their career training program.
