From now until Jan. 31, all donors who give at a South Texas Blood and Tissue (STBTC) donor center will be entered into a drawing for a year of free groceries.
The South Texas Blood and Tissue Center (STBTC) will be at the Rock at La Cantera on Thursday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. to team up with the San Antonio Spurs for a blood drive.
The South Texas Blood and Tissue Center is urging donors of all blood types, especially those with Type O, to give blood as the holiday season has made it challenging to meet patients’ needs.
Although blood centers across the nation face supply shortages, South Texas Blood And Tissue said they’re prepared to help respond to nationwide tragedies.
