Two dozen local rescue dogs board plane heading to future homes

SAN ANTONIO – The nonprofit San Antonio Pets Alive, in partnership with the Dog is My CoPilot program, helped more than two dozen local rescue dogs find new homes.

"Dog Is My CoPilot is grateful to be flying again with our rescue partner San Antonio Pets Alive! to help save at-risk animals and fly them to safety.  We are also grateful to the Petco Foundation for their dedication and support to help make life saving transport flights with Dog Is My Copilot possible," president and chief pilot for Dog Is My CoPilot Peter Rork said.
