SAN ANTONIO – A female driver is hospitalized following a rollover crash on the city’s West Side early Monday morning, according to San Antonio police.
The crash happened around 1:15 a.m. on the access road of Highway 151, not far from Loop 410.
According to police, the woman was traveling to Loop 410 when, for an unknown reason, she lost control of her vehicle and rolled it off the road.
Firefighters arrived and had to cut off the roof and the doors off the vehicle to rescue the woman pinned inside, police said.
The woman was taken to University Hospital by EMS with possible life-threatening injuries. Her condition is not currently known.
The San Antonio Police Department, the San Antonio Fire Department and EMS all answered the call.
SAPD did not say exactly why the crash occurred. The investigation is ongoing, police said.
