SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Fire Department says a faulty space heater is to blame for a house fire on the city's Southeast Side.
The fire occurred around 3:30 a.m. Monday in the 4200 block of Treegarden Drive near East Southcross and Loop 410.
Firefighters said the 6 people who were inside the home at the time all made it out safely.
The home was completely destroyed.
The total damage estimate is roughly $50,000.
