Crime Stoppers looking for clues in parking lot shooting

Renard 'Nardy' Smith, 29, was shot, killed in parking lot on Midcrown

SAN ANTONIO – The San Antonio Police Department and Crime Stoppers want the public’s assistance in tracking down the person responsible for a fatal shooting.

Renard "Nardy" Smith, 29, was shot and killed around 8 p.m. on Oct. 25, 2016 while in a parking lot in the 8000 block of Midcrown.

According to police, the suspect fled the scene before police arrived. It is believed the suspect was in a silver or light colored Mercedes Benz sedan heading toward Walzem Road. At this time, police do not have any suspect information.

Anyone with any knowledge of the shooting  is urged to call Crime Stoppers at (210) 224-STOP.

Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
